I love this bed. I did my research and decided to purchase this bed for my spare room. This was the one with the best reviews and best price. It arrived in 4 boxes, all of which I was able to carry up three flights of stairs on my own. Took me and my boyfriend about an hour to put together and the bed is lovely. Solid, well made and easy to put together. The boxes smelt slightly as mentioned in other reviews but to me it was just a smell of boxes that had been in storage, nothing sinister and I don't think that matters as you get rid of the boxes anyway?! I have also seen people mention the finish of the paint, mine is fine and perfectly adequate for the price paid. Overall I think this bed is excellent value for money and very much worth buying if you have a small space but would like the flexibility of two beds. My daughter absolutely loves it and calls it her princess bed so it gets a big thumbs up from me.

I am super impressed with this bed. It was ordered for my child to have friends on sleepovers and certainly solves that problem. I was impressed from the accurate product description and speed and ease of delivery. The bed was delivered in about 3-4 individual boxes making it easy to carry up the 3 flights of stairs in my town house on my own. The item was packaged very well leaving no damage from dispatch and delivery. The instructions looked a bit daunting at first, but everything down to the last nail & bolt was labelled clearly, and I also found it very useful to have the allen key included in the kit aswell. It was very straightforward to assemble this bed and trundle, so much so my 13 year old step son was kept quiet and busy for about 2 hours building this bed on his own! It would have been quicker for an adult to do it, but it proved to me at how easy and straightforward it is to construct this item. The bed and trundle make a lovely addition to a bedroom and the difference it has made at having an extra bed available just by sliding the trundle out is well worth the price i paid. I was a bit dubious about how reasonable the price of the bed and trundle was and thought the quality of this item may of been compromised, but this was definately NOT the case. It is a sturdy well made item and doesn't look cheap. In fact it bears an uncanny resemblence of more expensive day beds i had been looking for online. All in all, if you want good value for money, very fast delivery and a bed that will look good in any bedroom, then order this item....you won't be dissappointed!!

We liked the fact half the bed stores under the main section. Easy to assemble and certain sturdy. We found that the ideal mattress for this bed has to be a MAXIMUM of 5” thick, we purchased two mattresses as recommended but they are 6” thick. Now when sliding out you have to take great care not to rip the bottom mattress due to the fixing bolts of the top frame. Thankfully the bottom half will only be used very rarely. Be aware of the 5” thickness though.

It was really easy to assemble. It took about 30 minutes. You really need two people though, at least I did. One to hold the nuts with the pliers and the other to tighten them. Once assembled it looks beautiful. Contact with the seller also proved to be good. I was curious about the size of the mattress you could have when on top of the trundle but under the bed. He advised six and a half inches but I managed to get away with 8 inches. Its very sturdy and my son loves it. He's a 16 year old and nearly 6ft but he says he has bags of room. The only problem is the trundle. It moves when using it to make a double bed. I read the Q & A part before I bought it and noticed quite a few said you don't get that problem if you turn it around. I don't know if thats true or not but it's not something I can do as the bedroom is too small to turn the trundle around for sleeping. Lack of space was one of the reasons I bought it for. A single day bed during the day which can turn into a double at night. It means my floor can be hoovered which is always a good thing.

Not as easy to assemble as it should have been, particularly the trundle bed; lots of misalignment of holes and bolts!! It’s in a spare room for my daughter to have sleep overs.

I really wanted to love this bed but honestly it’s just not what we thought it would be. The day bed is really beautiful but the assembly was awful for even my husband and I who are seasoned flat-pack furniture builders, because so many pieces just simply don’t fit together correctly - it’s broken and buckled and snapped more times than I can count, even under the weight of just small framed users, and we’ve had it such a short amount of time. The trundle is also really awful unfortunately, I hate to leave bad reviews but the trundle safety latches don’t fit due to the drill holes being in the wrong places, slats breaking, the legs aren’t sturdy enough and it collapsed when trying it out after building. Also does not come with any straps to secure to the daybed frame as one of the answered questions stated so the beds slip apart very easily. To their credit though, Seller was great when I contacted them about the first issue we had and replacement parts were sent really quickly which was brilliant, but that was the first of many, many issues and it’s at a point where is should probably just be binned....it’s lovely looking and a great space saving solution but I really wish it was sturdier and safer. Unfortunately, a complete waste of money.
