I ordered this as it was the only bed that looked like I could get it back under with the mattress on the bottom bed but I was very nervous after reading the reviews. So nervous that it took me six weeks to venture into the box 😂 I was so relieved to find it was actually very easy to assemble. Definitely needs two people but just because the slats are poles that you have to pop in one side and then try and balance them all while you pop them in the other side. So as long as you have someone helping them stay upright it's easy. The mattress did fit on the bottom bed when slid under the top one but just with a bottom sheet, no duvet so that will sit folded on the top bed. The headboard and height of the top bed is lower than I wanted but it looks really nice and has been sturdy enough so far. Also the squeaking that some reviews mentioned is only before you put the mattress on, no noise at all once that's on! I would say this was excellent value for money

Bought 2 so I had extra beds for sleep overs. The breaks on the wheels arnt great and with young children can be dangerous had a few trapped feet. Very difficult to assemble me and my partner nearly separated due to stress. I wish I was joking. Holes missing were screws are supposed to be and some don't even match up its been 3 weeks and honestly the squeaking is so loud whenever they simply turn over I just want to take them down the next time I have to take the Allen key to tighten them up.

Does the job of being two beds. The trolley bed is a bit smaller than the mattress so the mattress slides about a bit, but it fits under the larger bed with space for the duvet and pillow. The top bed is fine, slightly awkward to put together (had to punch out some missing screw holes), and a bit squeaky, but is otherwise sturdy.

Please not not buy this bed if you want a good nights sleep. I had to get rid after a month every move my son made it wouldn’t stop squeaking, it was unbearable he ended up sleeping on the sofa until I got him a new bed. The two star isn’t for the bed it’s for the company that refunded me a little amount back .
