YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR SORT OF !!!!! however the paint finish was very blotchy and I repainted the whole thing, to give it a better finish, also the slats are what looks like 5 ply and very flimsy, i decided to put a supporting bar end to end underneath the slats. The delivery was spread over 3 days 1 package one day and one two days later, I emailed the supplier but no apology or anything. in its favour it is simple to assemble insteuction are pretty clear.

Positive - The item itself is actually decent, easy to put together and nicer than I imagined once up. Comes in 2 separate packages so don't be worried when only 1 arrives, the other will be with you. Negative - the description say the mattress is included. It isn't! So you'll need to buy 2 mattresses, the bottom bed will need a 100mm deep mattress otherwise it won't fit under the bed when put away. 👍 the mattress situation did effect my rating here.

Nice bed for kids, trundle doesn't have much room to store under bed when mattress on it so had to purchase risers as bed pretty low.

I really liked the way the bed frame looked and despite some reservations, I decided to purchase the bed frame with trundle on 09 June 2023. I was never told until I complained that it would arrive in two packages. The first, very small package, arrived damage. The second never made it despite being recorded on Amazon it had been fully delivered. Within the first package was the trundle. As the package was damaged, I took a little look inside to see the frame was damaged. The frame also looked very thin and poor quality- Honestly, one attempt at adult activity could give you the feeling of getting it in on the titanic! I asked the seller if I could return the item, which they agreed. I re-packaged and returned said item. I didn’t receive a refund. I sent a refund request via Amazon. The seller contacted me and asked me to cancel my refund request with Amazon and then they would give me a refund. Legal fees are increasing by this point. I contacted Amazon and informed them of this behaviour to which they are now my free legal representative and are obtaining the refund on my behalf. I wouldn’t bother with the hassle of this purchase, unless you’re celibate
