I bought this bed frame last October when I needed a double bed in a hurry! It arrived compact and nicely packaged. Two single base parts that fold out and screw together. Very little to do! They also provided an adhesive tape for under the mattress but as the mattress was of a brand new deep quality, I decided not to use yet. It can move around getting on and off quickly, yes. But not awfully. For this one we have a bedside drawer unit either side and that helps. The tape would be a bonus. I am so impressed by this (and my youngest daughter has enjoyed) - that I am ordering another for her older sister today! We are decorating her room and so will probably use hers as a single with her existing single quality mattress until finished. The versatility is impressive. Just the fact that if either should decide they want a fancier base or move out, I can fold these down and store in a small space. Believe me that's essential for us! The other side I am impressed with is the height of the bed frame. It allows for a lot of storage underneath. With decorating, we have decided to take the idea of much more pricier storage beds and use this space for singular cube storage units that can hold a basket or be used for books or an ornament display. We're actually excited about this. So, would be recommend? Definitely!!

This arrived in a surprisingly small box for a double bed, and was only the size of a large suitcase and really light, so I was incredibly surprised that it was also simple to put together and actually really sturdy. The components were all nicely laid out in a blister pack and I had put it together alone in about 10 minutes. I had purchased this for my five year old because he is up most nights and I was fed up of sleeping on the floor, so most nights the bed houses myself and at least one child (often 2 or 3!). It is silent; not so much as a creak (even when they are jumping on it!), the is loads of storage space underneath, and as there is no fussy frame or headboard it is compact in his small bedroom. I haven’t yet disassembled the bed, as we are currently using it long term, but this looks to be a simple enough task, and that it would fold up really small. Would be an excellent choice for visitors, but is also proving to be fine for every day use too

This is an amazing bed, our house flooded, so we wanted a Temporary bed whilst staying with friends, we got this and it took 2 secs to put together, it's very sturdy, doesn't make a single noise like I expected. It has holes to attach a headboard and footboard if you like also, so we might do that when we return home, and use this bed!

The "extra strong" Zinus folding bed frame that I wanted had a 6 month delivery lead time on Amazon. Order in March and expected delivery would be September! Having just moved and disposed of my old beds I wanted a strong folding bed frame to make delivery and future moves easier. This 2nd choice Zinus folding bed frame still shows it can cope with 350kg weight so went for it. I was a little skeptical, especially when Amazon did an offer for it at just under £50 instead of the normal £70+. I knew I could return it if not happy. It arrived in a narrow box and was easy to carry upstairs. It slides out of the box, folded. Just unfold it and pull up the legs until it clicks into place and there you have it, a bed frame in under a minute from when taken out of the box! I was well impressed. I bought a reasonably heavy thick (25cm) quality mattress (Simba Hybrid) and put it on the bed frame. Sat on it, all OK, and slept on it, still OK and have been doing so for 2 weeks now and am well pleased. I am 13 stone 7lbs in weight and have no hesitation in recommending this Zinus bedframe. The bedframe was bought as my regular sleeping bed and I am well pleased. In the unlikely event of a problem with this frame I shall update this review. ADDITIONAL COMMENT 30/4/24. Still impressed with bed frame. I have noted comments from some saying "suitable for a child" and "can hear metals sounds as they move". I am 6 feet 2 inch tall and weigh 13 stone 7 lbs and have never heard any sounds from the frame at all. I have a Simba 25cm deep Hybrid mattress on top of the frame. It is fairly heavy. Perhaps with a thin depth mattress and a heavy person then perhaps the experience is different. But my experience is the Zinus frame is perfect, stays rigid on the floor and all I feel is the thick Simba mattress on top and no metal sounds and is definitely suitable for adults, after all the frame is designed to take up to 350kg. I say give the Zinus bed frame a try, you can always return it if you find it unsuitable........but like many reviewers and myself........I think you will keep it!

!!!!!!!Sept 2022 update: -Bought this frame July 2020 and I can honestly say it’s the one of the best purchases we’ve made. It’s still amazing. We’ve moved since buying it, and taking it apart/rebuilding it in the new place was super easy. I have no complaints other than you may want to add foam around the legs if you’re like me (I stub my toe a lot because I have terrible depth perception haha) but that’s not even a downside to the bed that’s just a me problem. A cut up foam noodle solved the issue fine! Also- my dog and cat spend a lot of time under it and it’s never once collapsed on them. Still holding up amazingly over two years later. Still no squeaks, not a sound. One thing I will recommend is getting a carpet for it or putting anti slip rubber things under the legs if you have hardwood, I just personally always recommend that anyways because I’m afraid of scratching the floor (we rent). Again not so much a product issue as a personal preference for precaution! TL;DR…. 2 years later it’s a great frame still. BUY IT! ((Original review:)) We bought this frame 6 months ago and it’s been amazing. I wanted to wait to review it properly. The frame is very tall so if you have a thick mattress you’ll find yourself up high like we do, but it doesn’t bother us. It worried me a bit at first because I was paranoid the frame would break, but after six months I can confidently say it’s very sturdy! Lots of space underneath for storage too, which is great if you live in a small space. The frame is silent, no squeaks or anything. Setup was relatively easy- less than 30 minutes. The frame comes with long sticky strips to adhere your mattress to the frame to prevent the mattress from slipping off. These work really well- almost too well, when we went to rotate our mattress recently it was really stuck on there! We ended up removing the tape and we found the mattress doesn’t really slip anyways, but the tape is really good for extra precautions if you’re worried. Overall this is a great frame for the price. Very sturdy, would recommend.

I am a fairly big guy. I have had plenty of bed frames that have broken due to both carelessness on my part as well as the bed frames not being strong enough to hold my weight. We have done everything from rigging the bed frames and without fail they always ended up breaking. So for almost 10+ years I have been sleeping with a mattress on the floor. I started to do research on bed frames that would be able to hold together with my weight and I came pass this Sleep Master SmartBase Mattress Bed Frame which I saw could hold up to a advertised 2,400 pounds and I was automatically sold. The reviews of this bed frame were very good, the price was reasonable, and that is when I made my purchase. I got this bed frame and once unboxing it I was very skeptical. I could not believe that these two separate frames with two nuts and screws to combine them together to create a full frame would hold someone of my size, especially separately. The legs seem to thin, but the only thing that looked promising was this was made out of steel. Even screwing them together I still was very unsure. I was even weary about climbing onto this bed frame thinking it would collapse under my weight. Once I put my mattress on it and made my bed up I finally garnered up enough courage and climbed on and I was amazed it did not fall straight to the floor, matter of fact, it did not squeak, I felt no budge, nothing. This bed frame was a very solid, very sturdy, and very strong. I was amazed. The more I climbed on and off this bed frame my confidence increased and I am sure yours will too overtime. There were a few things I needed to get used to. First off, since I have been relatively sleeping on the ground for a decade I needed to get used to how high I was sleeping in the air. I believe it's about 14 inches off the floor which is pretty elevated. As an adult I can easily fit underneath this bed frame. You can comfortably place luggage and other storage items underneath it just to give you an idea. I have only had this bed frame for about a week so any squeaking that has been a big complaint and con of this bed frame has yet to occur. One accident I made while purchasing this product was buying a box spring. You can buy a box spring for this, but I would highly suggest you save your money and DO NOT BUY A BOX SPRING. With how high this bed frame sits off the ground and your mattress on top of it, with a box spring, you will be able to outstretch your arm and touch the ceiling on your knees with ease. Just my suggestion. This bed frame and a mattress is perfectly fine. I just want to touch on how simple this bed frame was putting together. You need no tools. You simply just latch and screw on tightly with your hands. It is that easy. I am pretty sure anyone from a child to a elderly person can put this together. Overall, I am impressed with this bed frame. I have no complaints about it. Easy to put together, it's a strong, sturdy, and solid bed frame that you can have confidence getting in and out of. If you like sleeping high then you will definitely get that from this product. I would suggest this to my fellow big people or just anybody who is looking for a new bed frame. I already suggested it to my brother. Right now, I will give this a 5/5 perfect score. I highly recommend this.
