Who doesn't like plain bedding, especially if it is better than what they got last time around. To be honest, I was expecting this bedding to be something else and more as it is a bit pricey for a single size duvet and two pillowcases. There is more to this bedding that I sadly find it less of what it should have and could have been. First of all, it was supposed to be white colour, but I received grey. But okay, since it's not for me but instead for my daughter; she doesn't yet have grey bedding so it's all good. Next it's the fact that there are no stickers saying more about the bedding itself, and if you don't know how to wash microfiber bedding and not recommended to add softener as that ruins the thing. Well, that is what is advised under the idea of having microfiber cloth style bedding or any other linen. Also, being microfiber, it's winter type bedding as it traps heat better, so summer use is a no-no. Although it is made well and stitching is good, it still gives me a weird cheap material impression and light grey colour isn't that much eye friendly as white would have been. On top of it all it's pricey as bedding, especially for single size as asking well over 20 quid for it is steep! My daughter doesn't mind it and will be used in late autumn & winter, and sadly it's not something I'd come back for in the future!

I've had this duvet and pillow set for the last month and so far I am very happy with it - the materials feel soft and smooth to the touch with a slight amount of texture - it's a good balance that works nicely for me. It doesn't feel overly silky or textured which is good. Putting it all together was also intuitive and the duvet cover has ties inside to prevent excess bunching up and creasing. There's also a zip to seal it up compared to buttons which most of my other duvet covers use. It mostly works well, although the zipper sometimes snagged and got caught for me which required some adjustment. I'm using the single sized duvet and pillow cases and in terms of sizing it fits my duvet and pillows very well, although perhaps they're a teensy bit big so the duvet covers can feel slightly loose, such as when you're moving around inside the covers and you feel more movement on the duvet covers as opposed to the duvet itself. It'll depend on the size of your duvet, of course, but I tend to have thinner ones. Regardless of that small issue, I still find these duvet covers to be high quality, look great and feel nice to my skin. I'm happy with them.
